The 2017 edition had the purpose to raise awareness about the negative impact that human beings are causing to the environment and extensively compared our daily routine with the multiple problematics the world is facing such as the extinction of species, the waste and lack of potable water, the social crisis related to the lack of an effective face-to-face communication, the indifference of posting in social media any of these problematics and do nothing about it. Diego Lasso explains that this is not about being pessimistic, but aware that in the festival the storytellers will emphasize on these issues because they require more immediate attention and action.
