Blue Tales | How to be 100 years old and live to tell it

Objective:

Gather stories of nature conservation in Nicoya with the purpose of creating an oral storytelling performance to be presented in Nicoya and San José.

Introduction:

Oral storytelling is an art passed down from generation to generation. It serves to preserve history and culture, transmitting values and knowledge. Nicoya is abundant in nature, a place where life is long and fulfilling. People there live in harmony with nature, finding in it the resources necessary for a healthy life.

“Blue Tales” are stories of life, hope, and resilience. They are narratives that teach us how to live, enjoy each moment, connect with nature, and build a strong community. The project “Blue Tales” is an initiative of great social and cultural value. It is a way to preserve the wisdom of the elderly, promote oral culture, and celebrate life.
