“Claus Aunties”, a scenic oral narration show that portrays diverse Christmas experiences and the second process called “Golden Dreams”, which is a play that makes visible the psychological, social and property abuses experienced by the senior citizens.
As a result of these two processes, there is a need to create the first theater group of elderly citizens, to give voice and vote to this population, and comply with the axes proposed by the World Health Organization for active and healthy aging, which includes active participation in society according to their needs, desires and abilities. This will empower them emotionally and will improve their environment. This project is framed in the paradigm of an active and healthy aging, that promotes a higher self-esteem, autonomy and cognitive functions to the beneficiaries.
